Today is a day of incoherence.

For the past two nights, my neighbor has stayed up until 2:30 AM, loudly playing the same two Doors and Lynyrd Skynyrd CDs over and over.

And singing along.

Out of key.

It would be hilariously surreal if I wasn't so tired.

I'm not sure what has inspired this neighbor to suddenly become the neighbor from hell. He's always been very quiet-- I might have occasionally heard his TV, but that would always be during daylight hours. He's normally a nice, quiet, stoner-type of guy. But apparently now he's practicing to audition for American Idol.

I really hope this is not a new trend, or else there are going to be problems. Badgers might have to be involved.

If you weren't so tired, it would be funny. And Lenny Skinny isn't a bad band to listen to cranked, but if it's going to interfere with your daily productivity, you should talk with him.

Maybe he just went through a break up or something and this will all end soon. Fingers crossed.

Yeah, what Naive said!

"Hilariously surreal" - that sounds like something Stephen would say. Or did he get his flare for description from you?

If it were me, I'd put on some equally loud if not louder CD of (your choice of potentially annoying music) at teh crack of dawn when you are rising just to give him a dose, but you're no doubt much nicer than me. So in lieu, I agree - if he keeps carrying on after a few more days, have a talk with him. Stoners are usually cool and flexible.

Sweet dreams!

Stephen and I are twins, so of course we speak alike at times. Didn't you know? :-P

Hmm, I bet he'd have some suitably mean ideas for things I could do to my neighbor if the neighbor won't stop his late night songfests.

That's good though - I love you both - you AND your adverbs!!! :D
